Akranes

Akranes er bær sem stendur á vesturodda Akraness á Vesturlandi Íslands. Bærinn dregur nafn sitt af nesinu sem hann stendur á og nær frá Hvalfirði til Leirárvoga. Íbúar á Akranesi eru rúmlega 6500 talsins.
